Where it all started...

 Born in Ogden Utah , Marilyn grew up in a busy household.  She was raised with eleven other siblings by two loving parents; it was there she learned early in life the skills she needed to be a devoted wife, respected mother to her own eight children, and a loving grandmother to her many grandchildren.

Marilyn has worked in the public school system for about ten years.  She enjoys being around the children and watching them grasp and learn new concepts.  Many of her ideas have come to her only after teachers have mentioned a class need.

The teacher which she was helping mentioned that she would be teaching the concept of WORLD, COMMUNITY, AND SELF to her class.  Marilyn had created a version of the Your World At A Glance layout, so she brought it to school to share with the teacher.

Upon seeing the layout the teacher became excited and exclaimed that it was perfectly alligned with the core curriculum.  She suggested that Marilyn have it made up to publish so that others could use it in their classrooms.

After realizing the teacher's excitement was literal, Marilyn took her advice.  Within the year, Marilyn had also published the Your World At A Glance in book form, and released two musical CD's which have enhanced the teaching of the layout as well as exploring other parts of our world.

Of Course Marilyn isn't going to just stop there; she plans to add more books and songs to help make teaching fun for teachers, and learning exciting for children.
